Description
Now after my math exam (Math Abitur) I drew again a new picture
(I still have a whole stack of still in making pictures...)
Hayate Immelmann of Macross Delta. I love this anime~
And Hayate is a really good lead. I like him~ (and I ship him with Freya)
And here's a fun fact about Hayate I found out by chance:
Hayates surname is Immelmann (not Immelman!) and since I am German,
the name sounded very German to me. (so I asked Mr. Google)
Hayates surname Immelmann is an old German name (the original name could
be "Immel" and someday someone putted the -mann on it). The meaning of his
name is in German: "Der tatkräftige Mann" (eng. the vigorous man)
The funny thing is actually that I found a certain "Max Immelmann", who was a
German fighter pilot during WWI and created the "Immelmann" (eng. Immelmann
turn or roll off the top), an aerobatic maneuver. Na ringing something?
I'm sure this Immelmann turn is a part of Hayates Immelmann Dance.
(However, I am not familiar with such figures) and Hayate could be a
descendant of Max Immelmann... (but it's sure that Hayate is of German origin)
I like this theory and so Hayate is getting more sympathetic in my eyes.
